Calm Air and Canadian North are pleased to announce our new interline partnership to make flying with both airlines easier and more convenient. Customers can now book travel that includes flights on both airlines on a single ticket, making it easier to plan and enjoy their journey.
They will be able to check in themselves and their bags through to their final destination, without the hassle of managing multiple tickets or collecting baggage when transferring between carriers.
This new partnership is all about making travel easier for you. We’re pleased to offer a smoother, more connected journey when your itinerary includes flights with both Calm Air and Canadian North.
Other Important things to know
- To support a seamless travel experience under our new interline partnership with Canadian North, the Calm Air SOAR fare will now include two checked bags instead of three. The Beneficiary Rate will continue to include three complimentary checked bags.
- Please note that the interline agreement applies to publicly available fares only. Contractual rates, including the Beneficiary Rate and other negotiated rates, are not eligible for interline travel and cannot be purchased as part of an interline itinerary. Only publicly available fares qualify for travel under the Calm Air and Canadian North interline agreement.
- This change aligns baggage allowances across participating carriers and simplifies travel on interline itineraries. These changes will apply to new bookings and booking modifications.
- The most restrictive fare rules related to changes, fees, penalties and refunds apply to the entire ticket regardless of the issuing airline.
- Example: If the ticket contains a refundable and non-refundable fare, the entire ticket is non-refundable, including the refundable fare.
- If the ticket contains a fare that has a change fee of $100 and another that has a fee of $150, the $150 fee is applied when making changes.
- Example: If the ticket contains a refundable and non-refundable fare, the entire ticket is non-refundable, including the refundable fare.
- Flight changes and cancellations must be requested through the ticketing carrier.
- The baggage allowance of the originating carrier (first flight listed on your ticket) will apply to all flights on the same ticket regardless of ticketing (issuing) carrier.
- Other special requests must be made to the carrier operating the applicable flight(s), such as mobility assistance, or pet travel accommodations.
- Reward members can earn points on the flight segment operated by applicable carrier. For example, Calm Rewards members may earn points for segments of travel operated by Calm Air (identified by flight numbers beginning with MO) and Aurora Rewards members can earn points on Canadian North flight segments within a ticket (identified by flight numbers beginning with 5T).
